Dick Report post Posted September 4, 2009 Jeff, Your bad.....but my wife and I are going back to the California beach after elk hunting. She loves the ocean as much as I love to hunt!!! No more pictures if it got you that excited.
CouesWhitetail Report post Posted September 4, 2009 GREAT buck Dick!! I am so happy for you! That antelope does have some amazing character and I can imagine how hard it was staying in that blind in the heat. Don't think I could have done it. I hate hunting in the heat. But I love antelope meat and that sure is a fine trophy!! Congratulations! Hey, I don't remember getting any beach pics?? hehehehe Amanda
tjhunt2 Report post Posted September 4, 2009 Dick, what an outstanding trophy and to think you sat 8 days in a double bull in the heat is an accomplishment in itself. I to have put hours in my double bull but not out in the hot sun like you did. You have got to be one tough man to pull that off and deserve your success along with my cogratulations on a fine looking animal. TJ
Dick Report post Posted September 4, 2009 Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I do not have any side view photos to post but I will say this, he is a little over 15 inches in length and has very little curl and as you can see, he is not real heavy and has one digger broken off so he will not score real high, but, he was 21" outside spread and he is unique and the fact that I held out for him while passing on smaller animals makes him even more special to me. Amanda....you will not see those pictures...and besides, they were not of me! Dick
