I am counting the days.... Whitey lionhunter, I only prayed that my son would get an opportunity, and as God always does he came through with more than i could have imagined. After i hit my dear it brought me to my knees with tears and praise for my Lord and Savior. What a gift we were both given on this day. I prayed for you and your sons the first time i read your response. There is nothing better than sharing these moments with our children and teaching the presence of a higher power. Cody,s first response was "Thank You God" that was best thing a father could wish for. Your only 2 years away with your oldest and it will be the best hunt of your life, you will be shaking more than him trust me. Good luck to you and your sons thanks to all for your responses. You did it like a champ!!! Congrats!!! That is an awesome buck!! To the Happy Pappy, Great buck, even better memories. My little guy is 7 and my baby girl is 5, both want to hunt and be in the woods.
