There are some rumors going around that I shot this buck off of private land after I paid a trespass fee. This is the farthest thing from the truth. It seems that whenever anyone harvests a truly great specimen, some one has to start some kind of rumor to cast a shadow over the accomplishment. I have known you for many years, had the privilege of sharing camp with you once and have very high regards for your effort and the enthusiasm that you put forth.
