azhuntnut Report post Posted August 28, 2009 Blake, That is a really good buck. It always pays off in the end when you put the time and effort into scouting. The kill is just he icing on the cake. Congrats on a great archery buck and a fine story as well. David

BML Report post Posted August 28, 2009 Thanks for all the kind words everyone!! Any thoughts on a score?? I put a tape on him today, but he was frozen and I am not very good with the tape so I got a real high number. Much higher than I think he actually scores. bobbyo Report post Posted August 28, 2009 I would say that is a 95 " 3.5 to 4.5 year old trophy. A real no brainer. Congratulations on a awesome buck. It is really easy to score yourself. Amanda has a link I believe in the front section of the sight. You should really add the tracking part of the story to the patient after the shot section. As I'm sure you learned a mortally wounded deer never goes the logical route and rarely in a straight line. You should always have a person stay on the blood trail no matter how hopeless it seems.
