bwhntr Report post Posted August 17, 2009 During my souting I have seen elk throughout the whole unit. I would do some scouting and find heavy trails. For November, I would find some good vantage points to glass from. FR231(Woody Mountain road) from the I-40 is the main access road. Good Luck

THERE WAS A PROLIFERANCE OF NEGATISM THAT A FIRST WAS UNERVING FREINDS AND ASSOCIATES WARNED OF BUSTED UP BULLS AND NOCTURNAL BEHAVIOR.....ONE GUY THAT I KNOW WAS OPTIMISTIC AND RECOMENDED A SPOT ----- WERE I KILLED A 300+ 6X6 OPENIG DAY. IT WAS A FREAK SHOW OF BULLS DRINKING ALL TIMES OF DAY AND NIGHT. My buddy killed a 340+ on day 3. I WOULD RATHER HAVE A LATE HUNT NOW A WHOLE LOT LEES PEOPLE.
