yumabowhunter Report post Posted August 12, 2009 I decided to hook up the camp trailer and take the family to the mountains last weekend to do a little scouting. We had a great time! The weather was beautiful, especially since it was 115 degrees when I left Yuma on Thursday afternoon. Of course I couldnt imagine it would be cool at 6,000 ft, so all I took was T-shirts. Big mistake. We glassed up lots of elk, deer and antelope. It was the first time my youngest boy had ever seen an elk, I think he is hooked.
