I happened to guide one of your so cllad buddies in NM a few years ago on a elk hunt. He was the outfitter that had the client but he didnt know the unit, so he contacted me , wha t a great and honest guy. I worked for him and his clients for about 3 days and had enough or their bs and walked out of camp. m1280 Report post Posted May 20, 2005 Just returned from Vegas and visited the new bass pro shop and walked thru their "fine gun room". Pretty impresive display and the way they decked the room out, awesome!! Funny that when I return to Tucson and ck out the ole' website and this is what see! Anyway, when I walked into that room and saw the big leather chairs the first thing that came to mind was seeing CHD in all his glory spinnin some yarn bout all his hunts, knowledge and generally appethetic views (and his truck), thanks I chuckled at that one. gotta admit somthin, CHD, lotsa people wish they could have the lifestyle (hunting) that youve shared but like me we have to work our rear-ends off to do what we can, when we can and work our families and kids into the mix as well as other activities. I personally have learned alot about alot here and I am very thanful, and add quality posts as I can when I have the knowledge, As does many others here so my advice is this. write a book and sell it then you wont feel like YOU are being takin advantage of! I know you are reading this because guys like you always want to know what others are saying about them...Thanks for the comments and pictures you have posted in the past but you missed the whole idea here buds. It is not about us, it is about Coues deer. They are not just another animal to kill, they are much more than that. If you truly want to help deer and share knowledge with others, then try and overlook stuff you may percieve as shortcomings in others.......you of all people must know that many computer jockies are just that.........basically I thought you did a great thing by volunteering your time for ADA projects, maybe help out on the political committees and now you dont like a pretty selfless post by other regulars????? what gives? I have ignored it from the beginning, and I will continue to ignore the junk postings. Maybe everyone will ignore me too, but I try to get good info out when I have it. He is getting what he wants by having people get riled up about what he posted, and he is sitting lonely at his computer getting his thrills for the day, while trying to find himself a life. So just ignore it, maybe he will go away for good. This is a great site with lots of good info on it. I think it is the best around, with the best people on it. Anyhow, I got $20.00 I'd contribute. I've been out of the loop and don't have much time to go back to catch up........is this site becoming a financial burden for Amanda????, .....if so I would contribute cause it's a good and fun site.
