coueskrazy Report post Posted August 12, 2009 I highly recommend Minox. Exceptional low light and clarity all the way to the edges. Doug at Cameraland Ny has great deals on these.
Coach Report post Posted August 12, 2009 Has anyone done a side-by-side comparison of the Vortex and Minox? I've looked through the Vortex but not Minox. I'd be interested to see how they stack up against eachother.
Buster Report post Posted August 13, 2009 Which Vortex did you look at, Viper 15x50's or Kaibab 15x56?
Couesdeer Report post Posted August 13, 2009 If you're looking to save some money, you might want to consider dropping down to a good 10X bino. I've seen Ziess classics as low a 500 clams used. I sat behind a pair of Swift Kestrels ($200-$250) for many years and didn't feel handicapped by the 10X.
