John O Report post Posted August 9, 2009 Glassed up two really nice bucks yesterday, and this is my best effort of a photo of them bedded with my cell phone through my binos. A little tough to find them, but they are there.

John O Report post Posted August 10, 2009 Right in the middle, yellow grass, patch of shade??? Yep. Right on. I thought it was a rabbit when I first saw it. Ended up being a nice 80 or so inch buck. After a while he stood up, and so did his buddy, who was at least 90 inches. Went out for 4 hours and saw over 20 deer, three of which were bucks. Can't wait go get out and fling some sticks. John O Report post Posted August 18, 2009 This is a good example of how difficult it is to glass up these little dudes. The attached photo is of a spike at about 1000 yards, taken through my binoculars.
Simple Hunter Report post Posted August 20, 2009 All those dead trees resembles the area near Rye off the beeline. Why don't you circle the bucks? I give up.
John O Report post Posted August 20, 2009 All those dead trees resembles the area near Rye off the beeline. Why don't you circle the bucks? I give up. It is just one buck. He is dead center of the circle in the photo, in a shadow below the prickly pear cactus patch. Open it in a photo editor and zoom in, and you will see him. Hopefully my arrow sees his vitals come Friday.
