seek100plus Report post Posted August 5, 2009 I have 100 cases of 300 win mag nickel brass and I was wondering, if it would be safe to reload. I have reloaded regular brass before, but never nickel.
Buckhunter Report post Posted August 5, 2009 You can reload it just fine. but make sure you lube the cases just a bit more than brass so they don't get stuck in your die.

azrcks Report post Posted August 12, 2009 i have reloaded these as well but stopped. issues i had with it was that the nickle plating would chip off around the edge of the neck (very small pieces) and would end up in the dies, I also heard of this same issue when you shoot with small bits of nickel plating following the bullet down the barrel and scratching the bore. Just a thought. I have probably 300 30-06 nickel plated cases if anyone wants them in the Tucson area.
