firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted May 5, 2005 alright, i have a few choices. for coues, i am 100%sure i am taking my new 270 wsm (unless it dont shoot worth a dang!!!) but for elk and/ or antelope if i get drawn what should i shoot? i was thinkin for elk the 30-06 with the 180 grain accubonds it shoots so well, but if i dont get a coues with the new wsm, i want to break it in for sure! then theres also my old 270 i got from my grandpa, and theres my .308 that i killed my first 2 elk with. but antelope if i get drawn is between the 270 wsm and the 270. pretty sure the wsm wins that one, what do you all think i should do??? thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Did someone say something in the thread that insulted your favorite rifle or round? If someone insults your favorite rifle or round that is worse than insulting your favorite girl and I don't blame you for calling them names! But there are plenty of us on the forum who understand your pain. .30-06 and .300 WSM are the best rounds ever made for every critter that ever walked the earth and the Winchester Model 70 is the only big-game rifle worthy of shooting either of these rounds!!! It may have been just a joke but it is very offensive to alot of people and there was no call for it.
