The Claw Report post Posted July 28, 2009 It would be interesting from a study standpoint to cause people to loose bonus points if they received a left over tag and see how many would still buy left over tags...........not many we suspect. So if people wouldn't buy them then that would mean more people would rather have quality vs quantity as far as deer management. That should be a tell tale sign for the Game and Fish. I see their need for income but could they possibly come up with more ways to scale down and become more efficient to cut costs and thus reduce the need for more tag income? John O Report post Posted July 28, 2009 If an application arrives before 8:00 A.M. on August 4th is it rejected? Or can you send in an application now? Per the G&F website- "Applications for leftover permits will be accepted by mail only on or after August 3, 2009. Paper applications must be used - no online application service is available. " This means on the morning of the 3rd, they start opening envelopes and assigning tags. Mail your applications Friday the 31st.
