Coues79 Report post Posted July 24, 2009 With the technology going around today, the other states having what seems as a "results day" that is marked on the calender, one would think that they could implement a better system, one that wouldn't give them such a headache either. I would seriously think that there really has been something happen, given that results are not posted yet. The past however many years results have been posted a week sooner than now. COUESAZ Report post Posted July 24, 2009 I just talked to the Post master that drops the mail off at the game and fish in Phoenix and he said he had no clue when it would be done. So there you have it. Maybe we can call and talk to the guys that power wash the parking lot and see if they come up with a time. Look No body knows anything at the game and fish except the three people with the keys hung around there neck that have to be put in the computer and turned at the exact same time to start the download. So I dont want to hear anymore i called and talked to the guy that does nothing but take calls this time of year and has nothing important to say anymore. AAAAAAHHHHHHH. AZbowhntr Report post Posted July 25, 2009 The thing that cracks me up is people that call the G&F office asking when they are going to be out. This happens every single year and no one ever learns. They have to be laughing their rears off telling you guys all kinds of crap. Someone said they were going to be out late next week. Well I have had my results for several hours now. I guess you won't believe them again. Oh wait, yes you will.
natureboyfloyd Report post Posted July 26, 2009 Instead of waiting, I went off to scout Unit 32, figuring that I may just get my first choice, and after a few productive days, checked out a new way to interpret Unit 30( the Dragoons, Mules and San Pedro), which was my 2nd choice. I drew the Galiuros, Unit 32, late November, so I did not need the leftover tags like last year. Living in Tucson works well, for the leftover permits mean I can always hunt. Little nervous about the number of permits in Unit 32, but figure on hiking far to "escape" and thin out the hunter density. Last year in Unit 30, saw only two hunters, in a truck. I going to learn Unit 30, and a few others, and always have that "left over" permit handy. May God help us if the hunter population swells in Arizona.
