Foundry Man Report post Posted July 24, 2009 I am up in Portland, Oregon right now. Yesterday, we went out to the coast. I was glassing around, and we spotted a group of Roosevelt Elk out on the beach! It was crazy to see elk out in the ocean! Anyway, thought I'd tell y'all bout it. Pretty cool. AZMThunter Report post Posted July 24, 2009 Lived in Puyallup, WA for 14 years and spent a lot of time down on the Oregon coast... It is cool to see elk out there. Took the family up there to Neskowin just a couple summers ago, and as we were walking from the house to the beach, jumped a small herd of blacktail deer bedded down in the tall grass right before the sand - always fun to see something unexpected like that.
