You gotta love the part where she had a trap, but couldn't use it because she didn't have a hunting license or her neighbors consent.

That is to bad. The giffords are a hunting family. Infact i do believe it was Ty Goodman in payson that guides them here in AZ.

Not surprising that when SHE has a wildlife problem, SHE wants something done! Loved what the neighbor said about how she should keep track of her own dog and it would not have happened.

I think some coyotes would die, with or without the neighbors consent, and I would think a bigger dog would be the next family pet.

Now maybe she will try and sue the local Game & Fish dept for "her loss" like the little blue hair here in AZ a while back!

I am sorry for her loss, but just because she used to be a celebrity is no reason for her to think her loss is more important that anyone elses.

I don't really think she expected that since she was a celebrity that her dog being coyote chow needed to be news. It is more a matter of the press not having anything else to stir up. The comment her neighbor made about not wanting traps because then you have to keep track of your dogs is classic, arent they supposed to be fenced in or chained? When I see dogs running loose around my property it is .22 to the gut time, I dont want them around my kids who are outside. I think she should set her coyote trap and if a neighbor dog gets caught in it tough! they could take care of it without her neighbors even knowing. It would also keep the neighbors from letting their dogs run loose. Oh well just another excuse to kill some more coyotes. AG
