Covert II Elk Videos

I went up this afternoon to check my camera that sits on the tank. I'm going to Texas tomorrow and won't be able to check again in about 2 weeks. As I expected there was very little activity on the tank. I didn't get any Coues deer and only two bull elk. I'm pretty sure I know where the Coues deer are watering but like I said it will be a couple of weeks before I have a chance to move it. My boys may move it for me, but I'm not holding my breath.

 

Probably August before I check the other 2 cameras also.

Are the elk still in velvet during that early hunt, or are they starting to rub?

I think they shed the velvet in August.
