TAM Report post Posted July 11, 2009 So I went out looking at antelope tonight with Schmitty and two of my boys. Schmitty brings his gun along in case we see a coyote... which we usually do. I'm glassing looking for one of the bucks I've been watching when I glass up this coyote laying on the bank of a dry wash right next to it's den. Long story short Schmitty gets set up as I get my spotting scope set up and range her at 371 yards. The gun goes boom, the dog does a back flip, and my boys cheer and go running out to retrieve the prize. I couldn't stop laughing when this is what they brought back! It's either a dwarf or about 8 weeks old. We knew it was immature when he shot it, but we at least thought it would be bigger than a jack rabbit.
