WOODSAZ Report post Posted July 1, 2009 Well the me and the fam packed up a couple weeks ago and headed to the Telluride area for some camping and fishing. I absolutly love this part of CO and am amazed at the country up there. He had a great time and got in a little fishing in between the rain. Camp was at 11,300 feet and we got in at 11:30PM on Thursday night. We woke up to this in the morning. I hiked up the hill above camp and got this shot. We were camped on the peninsula on the top lake. The lower lake Maty and I getting a little fishin in. We fished for about an hour when a G&F office came up to check my liscence and tell me that the this lake had been winter killed this year . Oh well, cant complain when you have views like this. We headed down to another lake and in between the rain i caught a nice little brook and the kids got a few rainbows as well. Conner having fun fishin We headed into town one day and the kids got to ride the Gondola which they thought was awesome. I spent some time there a couple years ago playing Santa for the nephews and nieces and ice fished Trout Lake located just up over the pass from Telluride.
