Red Rabbit Report post Posted June 25, 2009 Dick, I corrected the dates on my post. That's what I get for C&P, huh? Hopefully the snow and lightning will stay away that weekend for the BHH. Doug
mesa fatboy Report post Posted June 25, 2009 being new to the archery scene, not real familiar with these 3d shoots. I have shot the 3d range at usery a few times and find it a lot of fun. I was wondering what went on at these things, is it real serious or can beginers shoot without getting embarassed. is there different brackets? just thought it may be fun and challenging and a good way to get out of the heat. Red Rabbit Report post Posted June 25, 2009 MFB, You do not have to shoot competitively. Just shoot the courses for fun and maybe a side-bet with the guys in your group. If nobody is competitive in your group, you possibly could use a rangefinder if you want. At the Happy Jack shoot, no binos or rangefinders are allowed to speed up the shooting. If you go to a shoot by yourself and do not want to shoot alone, it is pretty easy to find some others to join their group. Competitively, there are different classes based on your age and equipment. There is a certain stake you shoot from. Doug~RR
