krp Report post Posted June 24, 2009 Just got back from some scouting and picked up my first ever game cam pics. I definately need to adjust my angle and made some rookie mistakes but it wasn't all bad. I also discovered the cause of the mysterious moving trail cams........ it's aliens. I actually got a few pics of animals. This bull thought he was all that and then gave me the razzberry. Then the Alien mother ship arrived And here are the aliens, they moved my cam 45degs and down. A turkey and coyote. I did find a Coues shed on the bench close to the cam, that's what I'm really scouting for, and a matching pair of elk sheds above the bench. All-in-All a good deal. krp Report post Posted June 24, 2009 Mike, I think that's rain, looks like maybe a little storm came through and lightning on the bright one with rain a few minutes later. Probably wind turned the cam, the straping system is crappy and I can't get it tight to the tree. I'm going to modify it and put it out again. Wasn't bad for the cheapest cam at Basspro and 70.00, I wish I had better pics of the bulls antlers. This spot is less than 20 miles from you, you might know it, Gino probably does. I hate sneakin into my stand at 4 am in the dark by myself..... no handgun! but I do have some CWT member phone numbers..........
