COUESAZ Report post Posted June 23, 2009 At work 24 7 (no lie)Feeding my wife and four kids. Not going bankrupt and running from my debts. That means I am paying bills. I lost my company to this economy And have had to suck it up and go to work for a boss again and pay off everything i have owed in debt so i did not leave someone else holding an empty bag. I am givin one week paid vacation and that is the time i have to give my family and hope two of those can give me a four day hunt this year with my oldest boy. I donate when i can like ernesto said. One more bous point is just another bonus point anyways. If i could go help I would but not for a bogus bonus point. I give about 20 bucks a week to the guys standing on the corners when i get off the freeway, Our family runs a not for profit doing bathroom renovations for the wounded veterains and handicaped Americans. I think more of us give to others more than you may think. I am sure it is frustrating being the guys doing all that work in our names as sportsman. It is just as frustrating to me to see all the city folk heading for the hills every week as I load up in my service van and head down the road to work monday through sunday. I am sure i will get a bunch of replies about what a creep i am becuase of this post.,but hey I hope to survive this major slow down and come out OK on the other end so i can get back to work for myself and give more time to the things I love. GameHauler Report post Posted June 23, 2009 I would like to say that I understand your frustration and why you felt the need to make this post. Many people are just to selfish or lazy to do anything that does not have a direct benefit to them and we do not need them on a project anyway. That being said, you have no idea what people do on their own that mostly goes unseen. I know you were not directing the post at me but I did take a little offense to it which I also know I shouldn't. I was asked by a magazine if they could write an article about the efforts of my personally funded projects and I declined because I do not do it for glory, but for the wildlife. Its a great feeling when you have done something like that.

bowhunter4life Report post Posted June 24, 2009 Remember also . there is allot of us on this site that are board members of many other Az outdoor chapters and we donate allot of time and $ to all Az. outdoor groups. Like this weekend I was helping the Az elk with Wapiti weekend running a youth archery course. How do you think all of these banquits raise so much needed dollars to be able to pay for the projects? The az hunters are buying and donating needed items to them. just like others have stated. donating $ to raffle help pay for our projects. So to all that donate and spend weekends helping az wildlife. KUDO to you!
