coues7 Report post Posted June 21, 2009 Does anyone have a pack frame that they've USED and would recommend? Last year we packed out an entire gutted buck and I AM NOT DOING IT AGAIN THIS YEAR. Let's hear what you recommend. Scott
GameHauler Report post Posted June 21, 2009 I used this frame from Cabelas for years and was very happy with it. I has held up very well and is easy to clean. If this is the type of pack you are looking for you should be happy. Now I have Eberlestocks and Badland packs and they are the finest packs I have every used and lifetime warranty. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...rset=ISO-8859-1 http://www.eberlestock.com/hunting.htm http://www.badlandspacks.com/packs.php
Red Rabbit Report post Posted June 21, 2009 Scott, I have the MysteryRanch NICE frame with load sling. The NICE frame, load sling and crew cab would be a good setup. Much better suspension system than the CampTrails aluminum frame or Coleman Nylon frame I used before. I carried out my whole antelope (less guts, hooves and hide) and hunting gear last fall on the NICE and bag setup. The MR carries the weight better than the Black Creek Alaskan I have. The Kifaru G2 Hauler is supposed to be real good, as is the Granite Gear Flatbead for a packframe. http://www.kifaru.net/longhunter_hauler.html http://www.granitegear.com/products/backpa...tusflatbed.html Doug~RR
