crazyaboutcoues Report post Posted June 21, 2009 Not going to find too many Coues in the Reserve area. I have seen a couple as high as Sheep Basin but not enough that I would hunt them. RoughCut Report post Posted June 21, 2009 I had the 16 tag last year. My folks have a cabin in Reserve, so I hunted around there too. I had never scouted the area, so I had to wing it completely. I can't tell you how many times I was almost stampeded by the elk. I saw about 120 elk 8-10 Coues ( all does) and a pair of muleys (does) in four days.
