Red Rabbit Report post Posted June 19, 2009 I was in Bull Basin Archery here in Flagstaff and was told that Hoyt will be releasing a new bow in the Hawk series called the Turbohawk. It will have the same cams and limbs as the Alphamax 32, but on a cast magnesium riser that will yield a 3 3/4 pound bow. price will be about $550, but there will be a $50 rebate also. I have test shot the Alphamax 32 and really liked the draw over the Bowtechs (except possibly the General). The new bows should ship around the beginning of July. Looked on ArcheryTalk and found some similar info. http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.p...%2Bhoyt+%2Bhawk Figured I'd share for those yearning for a new bow and cringe at the flagship prices. Bow is not on the Hoyt website yet. Doug~RR
AZP&Y Report post Posted June 19, 2009 cast magnesium riser that will yield a 3 3/4 pound bow Hoyt rocks! Nice to see they are offering a quality bow at a "reasonable" price! Nice to be able to carry a bow that lite- up and down the rough desert and canyons of AZ. I still think they should have marketed it as the "Turbo WHACKMASTER" -----------------> AzP&Y
