308Nut Report post Posted June 17, 2009 Thank you. "pwrguy" was with me on that hunt. If we both get drawn for late WT, maybe we can do a double and have two WT mounts to show off!
pwrguy Report post Posted June 17, 2009 Great mount. You are going to run out of wall space if you don't quit assasinating those poor little white sheep.

Coues 'n' Sheep Report post Posted June 17, 2009 Congrats on the rams.... I am envious of your sheep hunting opportunities!! I want to go on another Dall hunt myself one of thes days... But I supose I should focus on my Rocky and my Stone first.... Those dang Stone hunts are really getting out of reach on cost. Congrats again... and you can never have too many sheep mounts on the wall... they are like coues... each one is unique!
Rio Report post Posted June 17, 2009 Very Nice, hope to have the opportunity at a trip and success like that one day.
308Nut Report post Posted June 17, 2009 Those dang Stone hunts are really getting out of reach on cost. That is no joke. Stone hunts are OUTFREEKINRAGEOUS. The Canadians know the only place in the world to aquire one is in Canada. They have you by the ba!!s and know it. They arent afraid to charge accordingly. I know I dont think I will ever afford one. I will have to stick to dalls. Next to bugling elk, hunting dalls is my favoraite. Kind of an obssesion like coues are for all of you! Happy hunting!
cmc Report post Posted June 17, 2009 Those are some wonderful mounts. Congrats on some very fine looking animals. If you don't mind me asking what's the average cost of a dall hunt running as I agree with your observation of the cost of stone sheep having looked around at pricing on those. NR license = 85.00 NR tag = 425.00 Guide = 7500-12000 average for a decent guide is 10000 As a NR you are required to have a guide unless you can hunt with a resident who is 2nd degree kin. 308Nut Report post Posted June 18, 2009 .308, would you mind sharing where you were able to harvest your rams? they are sweet. Good sheep spots are usually kept under lock and key. I can tell you that they are from the Chugach mountain range.
