TAM Report post Posted April 18, 2005 I've got an archery spring tag for unit 22 and have been out hunting once and done a lot of scouting. Haven't seen any yet, but I've seen lots of sign.
Traveler Report post Posted April 18, 2005 I also have the Archery 22 tag. I did scout prior to the season, but have been booked solid since the season started. Hoping to get out this weekend. Dan
Whitehntr Report post Posted April 27, 2005 I have a 6b archery bear tag. Haven't seen any yet. Only had a couple days to scout. Found a big track (front pad is 5 1/2 inches wide) in a draw. Set up a trail cam and got some pics of him. He's cruising by about 5 in the evening every couple days. Going to keep sitting my stand and hope to get lucky. Checked a couple waterholes too and they are getting hit pretty hard. That was on Saturday, but we got a lot of rain starting saturday afternoon while I was sitting a tank. Going to sit the stand on the game trail until it dries up a bit then sit water. Too thick for spot and stalk. Most of the bears are beginning to move up to the high country. Good luck
