a big whitey and a set from a familiar face

Recommended Posts

went out yesterday and hiked down the canyon to a spot where we had some bulls spotted in january and february. we set up with the sun at our backs glassing across the canyon and spotted the first horn, nice six. from there we kept glassing when my buddy spotted a set laying thirty yards apart. from here we had to figure out how in the world we were going to get to them since they were pretty far from each other and we were not about to leave any of them. well we ended sucking it up and getting over there and picking them up plus one other busted up one and some pieces. but when we finally got to the set and picked the first one up we realized what we had found. the long royal and the crab claw whale tale. after we got them together we had some laughs, the bull was spotted by my girlfriend and the times we spent out there waiting for them to drop and seeing this guy then finally picking them up made it a well worth trip. enjoy

yes it is sorry thought i had clarified that. the pictures of the bull are from february and the set ishis from this year. they were pretty white i couldnt belive it but they are this years. same broken points and everything. plus the horns laid within one hundred yards from where the picture was taken. that bull lost his horns the week of valentines day. just something to keep in mind, thought that was a little early.
