grizzly Report post Posted May 27, 2009 Never used the Stinger but I have a 10" Posten woodsman II and I love it. I am amazed at how it actually holds the bow still for me, there is also an elastomer insert that deadens vibration every bit as much as the S coil I used to have. I am actually planning on getting an 8" for my other bow, just to be a little bit more maneuverable.
308Nut Report post Posted June 17, 2009 Scientifecly and real world results show the B-Stinger to the best stabilizer for the purpose of stabilizing a bow. That is for a 12" stabilizer. Longer ones do a bit better but not much. Long ones are not practical for hunting purposes. They do some yet little for dampening but that is not what they were designed for. They were designed to help the shooter hold steadier and stabilize the bow during the shot. You cannot beat the design for stabilization. If you want a shock absorber, look else where. If you want to shoot better, get a B-Stinger. They work and work well. Competetive shooters in the bowhunter division (12" or less stabilizers and fixed pins) shoot more B-Stingers than anything else. Not because they pay out, because they work.
