check out jimposten.com. He makes custom stabilizers, I got the 10" woodsman II, and plan to get an 8" for my other bow. They are great stabilizers with adjustable weights on the end and an elastomer inside to add shock absorption.

Just wondering how is the woodsman II stabilizer on stabilizing the bows shots and dampening noise. Do any of you have experience with this stabilizer.

The 10" Woodsman II is what I currently have, the only difference from the original woodsman is the camo dip paint job. This is the first real stabilizer I have ever used, I shot the sims s-coil on all my bows for the last 8 years or so. I tried this one out after reading about what a difference they make on archerytalk.com, and all I can say is Im a believer. The theory behind it is that the further you put the weight from the bow the more difficult it is to torque the bow on the shot, one of Newtons laws. I used to take 3-4 seconds to pull a shot from the time I came to full draw, with this stabilizer I have found that I have to hold the shot for about 6-8 seconds and once that pin settles on the mark it doesnt move. The removable weights on the Posten are nice because you can customize the feel of your bow by getting the weight exactly the way you want it. The very first time I shot with it on my bow I beat my personal best at the Usery 3-D range so for me the results were almost instantaneous.
