IHunt2live Report post Posted May 16, 2009 Took my last final of the semester yesterday and decided to celebrate be looking for some sheds. Not much to share, only found just this one little shed. Some may not agree but I really think it was shed this year. It is white but very solid and there is some skin on the bases. Saw some pigs but the most interesting part of the trip was to hear all the calls of scaled quail. I heard them give this warning call when they first saw me that sounded like a hawk scream, then I could hear them later, what sounded like an attempt to imitate a gambels quart ship call. All this was intermix with the normal call. It was interesting. And a great way to spend a morning.

IHunt2live Report post Posted May 16, 2009 Nice! Did you see any slithering critters out there? Nope no snakes but a heck of alot of lizards, they made me jump several times as I would see them out of the corner, or bottom, of my eye as they ran from under my feet.
