massamino Report post Posted September 8, 2009 I have scouted the last two weeks in 6A south. My usual locations I like to frequent were pretty dried up this August but have received a little rain over the past week. Over the labor day weekend I checked out some area near the powerline off of the 81 road. I heard some cows talking but no bulls. I have failed to locate any bulls and my time has run out. Since I live 4 hours from the unit I won't be able to return until the hunt. I guess I'm just going to hope for some luck. I guess my biggest question is for anyone that has been scouting 6A south in the past few days if anything even close to what sounds like rut activity has been heard? Without any activity I my chances are pretty deminished seeing every water tank in the area has already been claimed by other hunters. Any advice would help.
