Sitka Gear Website Updated for 2009

I am still bummed that they decide to go with optifade... I understand it was a business decision but I think it is going to bite them in the rear....

i need to hurry up and become a world champion archer, or kill a bunch of B&C bucks and bulls on camera with my longbow so I can get me some sweet pro-deal freebies. That gear is cool (looks like a good color for the rocky desert), but sure to be super spendy.

Are you guys familiar with www.camofire.com ? The often has Sitka Saturdays??? Some of the stuff they have on clearance is weak but every once in awhile you can find a good/great deal...

I sure would love to own some of their clothing but honestly I can buy a lot of similar products for less $$$$... :(

I noticed that the Cabelas website is now showing the 2009 Sitka Gear as being in stock. If they have it in the Glendale store, might be worth a trip to inspect and try on. Those stretchy Ascent pants would be worth a look to me.

So J, what do you have in the works?

A Kenetrek catalog came in the mail. It had some Russell Outdoors APXg2 clothing, which looks to be similar to the Sitka as softshell material with articlulated knees, elbows, some w/ Primaloft. Gander Mountain carries it and looks to be about 1/3 less than Sitka in cost. Could be a viable alternative.
