az.antlerenthusiast Report post Posted May 9, 2009 Here are a couple pictures I promised my son and his buddy that I would post. We found these last weekend in a rather open area near a fence. It was open enough that I could see them from about 400 feet away. Since we were walking that direction anyways, I let the kids get ahead and didn't say anything. Once they seen the antlers it turned into a mad foot race. Given the factor that this was a year old pair it was nothing short of amazing that they were laying where they were. As many people come through this area it was very surprising to me. This is a 6x6 pair and is in about the 330 range. Didn't find no browns but we did find a couple other single sheds. Antler hunting along with cave exploring and rock climbing ,which is a cool bonus in this area, can make for a fun day for your kids and yourself. Far from a record, but still cool to walk up on.
