June Report post Posted May 7, 2009 Who be there? How did it go? How were the courses? Where can I find the scores? Was there a dark colored four-door jeep with attractive females? WAS it a good time? I hope no ambulances were necessary this time.

Dick Report post Posted May 7, 2009 Hey June? There were 191 comp shooters and the reports that I have heard have all been favorable. Good weather, good shoot, good lookers in the jeep? The scores are posted on the ABA Wesite

WAS it a good time? I hope no ambulances were necessary this time. I was there. I shot like crap! Courses were great! Dick already posted that. For a little while they left with me! It was a great time! Almost needed an ambulance from the 2 hotties that almost stopped my heart. LOL! Well not really. I saw the jeep you were talking about but never saw who was driving. Sounds like my loss. I did meet a CW member but for the life of me I can not remember his name!!!
lucky2hunt Report post Posted May 7, 2009 I was there! Had a great time, the girls I shot with are a blast! Good competitors and just a lot of fun to be around, had lots of laughs and giggles The courses were challenging and fun. A big shout out to Apache Bowhunters, did a great job and were very organized! Oh yeah, AND, I took 2nd in HCF!!! Ilene
BowNut Report post Posted May 8, 2009 Ilene Conrats on the 2nd place! My mom (Jackie) shoots in HCF not sure if you shot with her or not. She does not always shoot well but just likes to get out there and try. Hope to see everyone at the 4th leg.
lucky2hunt Report post Posted May 8, 2009 I have not had the pleasure of shooting with Jackie, although I do know who she is. The turn out for these shoots have been very impressive, I can't wait for Sunrise!
June Report post Posted May 9, 2009 Ilene, Congratulations on your placing. Mr. Barragan's craftsmanship sure does show in the trophy's he creates. I too have been impressed with the great turnouts during the triple crown. Let's keep it up. Thanks ABA and Apache Bowhunters.
BowNut Report post Posted May 9, 2009 June I think the gentlemen that makes the trophy's is Bill Ray. Not 100% on the name but I know Dave Barragan does not have that much talent! Sorry Dave Just found out it is Dave Ray.
hawkeye Report post Posted May 9, 2009 The man who makes the trophy's is "Dave Ray". He is one heck of an artist. He makes hundreds of the trophys every year. One heck of a man also.
