azpackhorse Report post Posted April 28, 2009 A couple of buddies and I spent last weekend up in Unit 27 hunting Turkeys. We hunted down low in some awesome country, not quite what I am used to for Turkey hunting but the Turkeys were there. Ran across this band of hoodlums in Clifton These Mule deer weren't too worried about me This guy was quite a ways out there but he's a good'n! My buddy ended up taking this Tom as they were coming back to the roost. I had the assist There were Mule deer up the wazzoo! What a great piece of country up there, I will be back in a couple of weeks to fill my tag! We also seen several Coues deer but I didn't get any photos. Thanks for looking. CouesWhitetail Report post Posted April 28, 2009 Nice pics! Didn't you get a turkey also? I thought I saw a pic of your turkey in another post somewhere. I figured this would be more of the story to go with it, but I don't see yours. Amanda
