az.sportsmen closing archery gear

just a heads up.the az.sportmen in mesa is closing there entire stock of archery equipment.bows,arrows,treestands.ect..I talked to the manager today he said everything will be sold at almost cost.great time to get some good deals. mike

I bought a whole bunch of stuff two weekends ago, spent about $150. Arrows, broadheads, etc.... It is a shame that archery and fishing stuff going out of business. I asked the owner. He said they were getting rid of them, b/c the store next door is expanding. It is going to be a much smaller store now. Are they still 30%?

I heard the whole store will be closing when the Sportsmans Wherehouse opens on Greenfield and Baseline. The Sportsman has been competing with Bear Mountain since I can remember, so I dont think that has as much to do with it. I cant wait for the new SW, I drive by there every week to see if they have started the planned conversion, nothing yet.

talked with the fred (manager) while I was at the store today.only the archery @ fishing stuff will go.all at great deals.we picked up a ton of stuff at nearly 1/2 off.they are still doing great with selling all other hunting related stuff.ask for fred he is one heck of a good guy and probley one of the best varmit,firearm hunters you'll meet. mike
