Free Junior OTC Turkey Hunt Camp

AZGFD and many groups have come together to hold turkey camps for Junior OTC Turkey hunts. There is two camps currently to promote. One in Unit 23 that will be accessing Units 23, 3C, 4A and 4B. The other one is Units 1 & 27. Here is a link to the Unit 23 camp. Camps are also open to the public to come and join in the seminars and shoot bows that will be on hand.

I basically dont know anything about turkey hunting but I would really like to learn, so I could just show up?! Do I need a call and what about chokes or anything for my shotgun?

Thats what its about come on up...as far as calls go I think the people that are helping out will have plenty in there arsenal. For your shotgun put a full choke in, unless you want to go buy a turkey choke

bring yourself up with some camo and a face mask--make sure you have shells for your shotgun! LOL!! we will have the food and drinks for lunch and dinner and the way it is sounding we will have more than a few folks there to help with the rest!!
