DUG Report post Posted April 1, 2009 Jeremy, 7W is my favorite area. Although we haven't killed any monsters we still get elk. It is a fun hunt but can also be a tough hunt. My son has this tag this year. I had it last year. This past year we hunted higher looking for a big bull. It's hard to sneak up on them. Settled for a small 5x5 second to the last day. Good luck! DUG Report post Posted April 1, 2009 OOOps, I just saw this was in the bowhunting section. My bad. We have had plenty of rifle elk tags in 7W. Only have had 1 bow tag. I shot a cow with my bow in 06. For bow hunting at that time I would sit water. Or try to find a movement pattern and try to intercept them. You'll need a lot of luck. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
