Packer Report post Posted March 26, 2009 Is the fresh one on the right. I have never seen a bull's base get smaller the next year. It could be a relative. I think that it is just the perspective on the picture that makes the fresher one look small, because they are about the same size. The interesting thing about these antlers is a 1/2 inch long cone that comes right out from the base of the horn and must have come from a corrosponding hole in the pedicle. I am sure it was the same bull as I have never seen a horn with that configuration on the base let alone two at the same time. There are some other indents on the bases and are identical on both horns that are hard to see in the picture. Other than that ya, it was a great trip. It is definately a good way to enjoy some time with good friends. Aaron

Ron G. Report post Posted March 29, 2009 Thanks everyone. It was a great trip! As for that picture, it looks photo-shopped to me... Coues'n'Sheep, those are Sitka pants. They are great pants and I feel they are worth what I paid for them, about 40-50% off last year at the end of the season. AZHUNTNUT, I was just up there looking for sheds. Put in about 12 miles on foot in 2 days and didn't find much... Ron
