SxS users, dust protection?

Must be one seriously built up sequoia!

I love my sxs, gets me places I can’t go without serious wear and tear or risking real damage on all the but the most built up truck/4runner,and gets me there a whole lot faster and easier. keeping a nice truck nice is impossible if I took it where I take the sxs.Dust can be annoying, but a little problem solving keeps important stuff clean…. I put a tool box on my bed extender, works great

Exactly. A 4runner or sequoia would take 10-15k in suspension to make it ride like a rzr. Cold, I put a carhartt on as an outer layer she gloves. Dust sucks, but goggles protect the eyes, and a dusty pack isn't the end of the world. Protecting the vehicles not meant for offroading is worth it as well as the smooth ride, and the speed of arriving to the spot. Not that 20-30 minutes is a huge deal. But an hour a day over 5-10 days really adds up.

My Bronco is built and can probably go through and get to nastier places than my rzr can, but its gonna be a rough butt ride and take a whole lot longer time to get there.

I keep a battery powered blower in camp. End of each hunt day my pack, etc. gets a good dust off.

Man, growing up my grandpa had a sweet bug. For some reason, it got sold as he got older, which was weird he never sold anything and all of us grandkids loved that. The guy who bought it ran it out of oil and blew it up like a month later

Yes You can get beat up and ill admit it is rougher but some good billstein 6112s or 5150s w some decent upper and lowers will get you in a lot of places.  So finding a 4Runner or sequoia in the 5-6k range and 3-4k in suspension saves a lot of $. About 1/3rd of the price of some basic new sxs.

Mines an old rzr that I feel like I got a decent price on, paired with a fair heavy duty trailer. Suspension revalving and a stage 2 spring kit installed and it's been awesome. I had a bull elk, 5 dudes and all our stuff in it last late season and it worked like a charm. Plus, the older ones actually have some bed space and are significantly smaller than the new ones. Pair that with the ability to run 60 mph, it's a pretty sweet rig.

I use a couple of cheap moving blankets and cover up my pack and bow in the back seat.  For what’s in the bed it gets dusty but I don’t worry about it
