I always assumed the diversion dam was simply built to 'divert' the water into a canal and around the dam construction site so they could build it. Never dawned on me that it would/could also generate needed electricity for the project. (Of course, I have never done any historical reading of any kind on it, hence was ignorant on that fact.... Reading is good! lol) One thing I DO know is that back in the early 80s we used to catch a s-ton of channel cats and some dang nice flatheads up and down the stretch of water below that thing! 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
