260 to 87 rim rd open?

Anyone driving the 300rd from 260 to 87? Is it open yet? Online says yes but drove a week ago and sign said still closed at woods canyon lake? Want to head that way next week.

Call the Heber Ranger Office. Just called. It's open.

Usually I call and talk to Barb. 90% of the time what she says is accurate. I spoke to Lori this time. Can you take a run up there since you are so close and check it out? LOL. I have a 5A thunderchicken tag so I will be up there this weekend scouting.

so I am for sure heading out Wednesday but wanted to see if anyone has driven this rd.? I know they say its open but has anyone made it thru yet?

They generally open it right before youth turkey hunt.

Usually sometime on opening day. But I saw something last week that said the closure in the Sigreaves was lifted. So it should be open at least to the border.
