Coach Report post Posted March 18 Just curious who is selling permits and minnows? You used to be able to get permits in Globe at Circle K, and minnows at the marina at Soda canyon but I haven't been down in a couple years.

I ask because I was there last weekend and I didn't see much signs of life at that store. Would be great if they did have minnows.

dutchmanazA1 Report post Posted March 19 I didn't fish...just wanted to see what the lake looked like, but will be up there this weekend. The only usable ramp that I saw was at Soda Canyon. There's one at New Government that perhaps is possible, but I'd think you'd not have to mind scuffing up your boat fairly good. Either way, be prepared to get your feet wet getting in your boat. There isn't a pier or anything to tie your boat off.

Not afraid of Scratches. And I haven't seen a ramp there since the late 80s. Next to the sheriff dock. Years ago. The first time my Dad remembers that he went to san Carlos was in 1970 . He was 8 . LifeFeedsOnLife Report post Posted Wednesday at 10:47 PM How long does the bite generally last? It's been 15+ years since I've been crappie fishing and this is making me very tempted. I'm just not sure if I can make it happen for another week.
