Thanks, ive never used minnows before…

they poop a lot after feeding. They’re getting so yoked.

This is just not true, the black stripe is a recessive gene of the same species. If you want to talk about how they use habitat and feed differently, I'm in.

Black nose in other parts of the country do spawn. I was told by a biologist during the stocking that these will not reproduce. Maybe it's not true. The ones I have been catching are all the same size, clones, no small ones.

Why would the black nose in other parts of the country spawn, but our black nose that came from Arkansas not spawn?

because not all BN are hatchery fish, ours are.
