Whats the deal on the brake? Tune? It has the cool factor. Nice rig.

Barrel tuner, never used one but hear and have seen evidence of them tweaking a good group into a great one. Some F class and Bench guys use them. Was making the brake anyway so with 22lr ammo being non reloadable i figured maybe i could tweak a load with the tuner. The collar on the outside is threaded to the outside of the brake so it turns and runs up the barrel changing the harmonics in theory. Like the old rubber rings they used to put on middle of the barrel

Oh nice! Makes sense, I remember those old rubber rings. Looks awesome, post some targets up when you get it tuned.

Here’s the first few shots out of it at 100 yrds. Testing ammo. Solid steady wind down range and to the right. Didn’t mess with the tuner on this run.

You may want to try barrel tuner with bloop tube. They seem to work best with rimfire ammo. Nice rifle.

Why would anyone want to shoot 400 yards with a 22lr?  I'd imagine you are gonna need a camera on the target to even know if you hit the target?

Because some matches set steel at 400 yards. Electronic shot sensors on the target lite up when the steel is hit.

I was at Rio on Sunday and there was a match going on. I saw red lights flashing a few times and wonder what they were shooting.
