Robert1 Report post Posted February 28 Been looking for a good ground blind I can sit my dad in with his crossbow for a coues hunt. He's disabled and can't spot and stalk anymore amd I came across the ghost blind. Seems like it would suit him well since there's no door to navigate to get in. Anyone have experience with this blind? Thanks
reddog Report post Posted February 28 I've used a ghost blind before. I like them. Not as good a fully enclosed ground blind because your head is above the blind, so it's a bit hard to get your bow drawn, but with a cross bow I think it would work great. Just make sure you get the blind angled down enough so it is just reflecting the ground in front of it. I had many deer come in while I was using it and they never thought twice about it.
yotebuster Report post Posted February 28 I watched some guys trying to stalk antelope behind one of those in 19a years ago. It was comical. I didn’t actually think anyone actually bought those things. In all seriousness, it looked literally like a mirror shining in the sun from the front. The antelope actually approached them to about 200 yards trying to figure out what the heck it is and then hauled out of there
