Not sure of your skill level but since you have saved a ton of money not elk hunting over the years, I recommend you hire a good guide and make the most of this hunt. Although I have never been able to get a tag, I've put two daughters and a cousin on big bulls. It may be easier when I'm the guide and not the hunter though.
