UggRedBilly Report post Posted Tuesday at 05:04 AM I recently bought this car just to be told I cannot have it on my aparment complex! Just trying to get some of my money back for this car. 350 SBC added 25k miles ago New Transmission installed 2k miles ago from Phillips Transmission. Dakota digital gauges inside. This is a running and driving car but still is a project. Has a few leaks, will need all new suspension, windows roll up and down but have issues staying on track. Front seats in rough shape. Back seats are decent. Couple other small issues along with a 50 year old car. But can be made into something great. Tried to make it work out with my place but they said is has to go! My loss is your gain 6500 OBO any trades will be considered. Trades plus cash! Hunts???? Message me at 480-Eight2Five-Eight53Zero
Boarman03 Report post Posted Tuesday at 06:41 AM I had a brown one with a 3 speed tranny.🤣 Fifty years old? Where has time gone? I bought it cheap in 1988. I drove that through snow storms up to Boise for Christmas with my wife's parents and back down again. Snowed all of the way into N Phoenix that year. I sold it and went to a four wheel drive 4 Runner for my wife and I eventually got an 87 Extra Cab Turbo. I bought both as salvage and put them back together. 4 Runner was a theft recovery missing Wheels and just a few things. The Turbo was a slow roll over so I replaced the cab and bed from a donor two wheel drive, using the 4x4 front inner fender assembly. Tore it down to the frame and put it back together. I had more energy and ambition back then.🤣

Boarman03 Report post Posted Wednesday at 06:36 PM What's the actual problem with the Complex rules? Why won't the apartment complex let you keep it there? Too many personal vehicles? Is it not currently tagged? Many times you can rent a home for the same or almost the same price as an apartment. Also, check your rental agreement before you rent for restrictions. Might be time to find a different Landlord.

Vehicles must be current on registration, insured and in running condition. You are usually not allowed to work on them including doing oil changes, brake jobs etc.
fatbastard Report post Posted yesterday at 04:10 AM Apartment Nazis are even worse than HOA Nazis. Not by much depending on where. Use the $$$$ to get your own piece of dirt. Skip the management company, the HOA, and you will be better off than a lot of folks when it comes to owning what you want.
