IA Born Report post Posted 3 hours ago If I ever rifle hunt javelina, it will be with my dad's AR that he got when I was in elementary school. 1980s Colt A1 style, just like he carried in Vietnam. Accurate has heck. My favorite rifle hunt that I've been on so far was when my son shot his 3rd javelina with my 1956 H&R M1 Garand. He had just turned 12 and the rifle was almost as big as he was!
