fatfootdoc Report post Posted March 12, 2009 Good luck!! Nearly everyone I know who has had a recent joint replacement says they would only change one thing, they would not have waited so long to have it done. Hope it is the same for you!!! ag
wetmule Report post Posted March 12, 2009 I'd postpone your surgery for a while, haven't you heard we're all gonna have free health care soon? Good luck
az4life Report post Posted March 12, 2009 Good luck on that rehab lark. I think in a few weeks you'll be wishing you had done it sooner.
.270 Report post Posted April 1, 2009 back to work today. still in a sling and will be for sometime. things went fine. not too much pain either. bored as heck from 2 weeks of tv. still have a lotta rehab to go, but the joint itsself already feels better. i can' believe all the hardware that went into it. had a big bone spur that cut about 35% of my biceps. (that's about 100% on most o' you weenie armed guys) they drilled a buncha holes in the bone and pulled the muscle back to where it's supposed to be. put a titanium ball on my arm bone and teflon socket on the shoulder blade. probly hafta shoot lefty for turkeys. oh well. oh yeah, i got another bull elk tag too. 2 in a row. gonna be a good year.
